1Indigenous-led Adventure Rides Make Cycling Accessible on The Gila River Indian Community. The ride goes through portions of the Gila River Indian Community home of the Akimel O’otham (Pima) and Pee-Posh (Maricopa) tribes. This is a group adventure ride, not a race and we will average around 10 miles per hour so pack a lunch and expect an all-day adventure if you are riding the 60 Mile Big Rez Gravel Route on January 10th. If you can’t commit to the entire day you should choose the 25 Mile Little Rez Gravel Route on January 9th.
